An outdoor advertising operator needed to control and meter 200+ billboard lighting sites, most of them with no broadband and no on-site staff. Traditional timers meant truck rolls for every schedule change and no visibility of real consumption.
The sites were retrofit with CNMIBO AT-4G-M5 4G remote switches. Each unit connects over the cellular network — no router required — and reports energy data to the operator's dashboard. Lighting schedules are now adjusted centrally per season, and abnormal draws (burnt-out lamps, broken circuits) surface as alerts within minutes.
The result: scheduled truck rolls dropped to near zero, energy billing per site became accurate, and fault response time fell from days to hours. The project now serves as the reference design for the operator's other regions.
